We’ve just noticed an large amount of recalls for the Honda Pilot from 2003 to date there have been 12 recalls. These recalls include:

2011 HONDA PILOT Recall – SUSPENSION

Problem: HONDA IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2010-2011 HONDA ACCORD V6 AND MODEL YEAR 2011 HONDA PILOT VEHICLES.  THE BOLTS THAT ATTACH THE LOWER LEFT AND RIGHT FRONT DAMPER BRACKET TO THE FRONT SUSPENSION AND THE SPINDLE NUTS ON THE PILOT MAY NOT HAVE BEEN PROPERLY TIGHTENED WHICH MAY RESULT IN LOSS OF STEERING.  THE SPINDLE NUTS FOR THE AXLE ON THE ACCORD V6 MAY NOT HAVE BEEN TIGHTENED PROPERLY WHICH MAY RESULT IN EXCESSIVE NOISE AND/OR LOSS OF STEERING. Recall Details- 12/16/2010

2011 HONDA PILOT Recall – SEAT BELTS:FRONT:WEBBING

Problem: HONDA IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2009-2011 PILOT VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM MARCH 13, 2008, THROUGH AUGUST 30, 2011.  THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT THE STITCHING THAT SECURES THE END OF THE DRIVER AND FRONT PASSENGER LAP SECTION OF THE SEATBELT MAY BE INCOMPLETE OR MISSING.  Recall Details- 9/9/2011

2003 HONDA PILOT Recall – ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE

Problem: ON CERTAIN MINIVANS, SEDANS, COUPES, AND SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH V6 ENGINES, A TIMING BELT TENSIONER PULLEY ON THE WATER PUMP IS MISALIGNED AND COULD CAUSE THE TIMING BELT TO CONTACT A BOLT ON THE CYLINDER HEAD.  EVENTUALLY THE BELT COULD BE DAMAGED AND FAIL. Recall Details- 8/28/2002

2003 HONDA PILOT Recall – AIR BAGS

Problem: HONDA IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2001-2002 HONDA ACCORD AND CIVIC, MODEL YEAR 2002 CR-V AND ODYSSEY, MODEL YEAR 2002-2003 3.2TL AND ONE VEHICLE FOR MODEL YEAR 2003 HONDA PILOT, CIVIC AND ACURA 3.2CL PASSENGER VEHICLES.  THE DRIVER’S AIRBAG INFLATOR COULD PRODUCE EXCESSIVE INTERNAL PRESSURE.  IF AN AFFECTED AIRBAG DEPLOYS, THE INCREASED INTERNAL PRESSURE MAY CAUSE THE INFLATOR TO RUPTURE. Recall Details – 2/11/2010
